Recording Management (Beta)

Now available under the Recordings tab in a course, you can manage your recordings and videos for the course page. This feature is currently in Beta, but you can create Modules, edit and trim videos, along with other features.

 

Recording Management Button

Under the Recordings tab, you'll see a large blue button on the left side of the page labelled "Recording Management".  As you record during the course, your recordings will accumulate here and may be marked as Trainer, Training Room, or Participant.

If you're sure you've created some recordings but they aren't showing up yet, please click the refresh button beside the "Recording Management" button.

After clicking the button, a new pop-up screen will appear.

Here, you can edit your videos by clicking the pencil icon on the video you want to modify.

 

You can create modules by clicking the (+) icon under the Modules box.

Once modules are created, you can start moving videos under each one. You can either drag and drop videos

 

 

Or you can manually assign them when editing the video.

Video Editing

You can do some basic video editing. If there are spots in your recording where you might be idle or struggling to find a file, and you'd rather not have that in your video demonstration, you can click the "scissor" icon on the video and trim out those sections.

 

This will open an Edit/Cut Recording window where you can scrub through and cut your video. Once you're satisfied with your edits, you can process the video to render your changes.
