Desktop Snapshots
Working with Desktop Snapshots
Snapshots let you back up your virtual machine so you can easily restore it later on.
For instance, if you're planning an upgrade that could potentially break your system, you can shut down your virtual machine and capture a snapshot beforehand.
Should the upgrade go smoothly, the snapshot can simply be deleted. If not, you can roll back to the machine's earlier state.
Snapshots are available across all DaDesktop types. Whether you're using a Fresh Start, Trainer, Participant, or Standalone machine, you can take advantage of them.
Keep in mind that when you restore a snapshot, the machine will be powered down, ready for you to restart it.
Creating Snapshots

Here's how to take a snapshot. Use a clear, descriptive name so you can easily tell at which point it was created.

In the example below, two snapshots have been captured at different stages. You can restore or delete them whenever you need.

Automatic Desktop Snapshots
If you'd rather have snapshots taken on a regular schedule so you don't have to remember to do it yourself, Automatic Desktop Snapshots are the way to go.
You can set the number of snapshots to keep and how often new ones are created right from this screen.
