GPU support

DaDesktop supports GPU acceleration in two ways:

1. Physical GPU pass-through (available only in select data centres) provides full hardware acceleration by using a dedicated graphics card.
2. GPU simulation through LLVM Pipe works seamlessly with any of our Linux distros, such as Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04. However, it is currently not supported on Windows 10.

If you’re not sure whether your chosen application needs GPU acceleration (Blender, for instance, does), you may see a message similar to this one:

"A graphics card and driver with support for OpenGL 3.3 or higher is required. Install the latest driver for your graphics card might resolve the issue"
