Connecting Via RDP

Linux

To establish an RDP connection, you can choose from the following clients:

• Remmina
• KRDS
• Freerdp2-x11

Among them, freerdp2-x11 stands out as the sole option that accommodates multiple monitors.

Setting up freerdp2-x11 in DaDesktop Private Node (ddpn)

sudo apt install freerdp2-x11

Establishing a connection to the Work Desktop

xfreerdp /multimon /u:dadesktop/v:zh4cn.npg.io:16666

Ending the session

CTRL+ALT+Enter

or

Windows Start Menu > Log Off -> Disconnect

 

Redirecting sound and microphone

xfreerdp /multimon /u:dadesktop/v:zh4cn.npg.io:16666  /microphone:sys:alsa  /sound:sys:alsa
